Why only seven, when Google Maps shows dozens?

Search Google Maps for "rapid detox" in any state and you get a long list. Almost all of it is standard medical detox: a supervised withdrawal over several days with comfort medication, no sedation and no anesthesia. On October 20, 2026 we ran 20 "rapid detox" searches on Google Maps across different states and got 65 distinct listings. Five were sedation or anesthesia programs on this list (one of them closed in 2025), two were old or secondary listings of those same programs, and the remaining 58 were conventional detox and rehab centers that appear because their listing contains the word "detox". Only programs that sedate or anesthetize patients for withdrawal are listed here. Missing one? Send it in.
